Atlanta, GA – The Morehouse School of Medicine Prevention Research Center and the Georgia Department of Public Health Strong Fathers, Strong Families GA Coalition have teamed up to “Mobilize Fatherhood: in Georgia.
On March 30, 2022, the “Fathers Matter ATL: Mobilizing Fatherhood in the Metro Atlanta Area” will host the Annual Roosevelt Muhammad Fatherhood Leadership Summit. The virtual event will convene at 1pm on Zoom.
The Annual Roosevelt Muhammad Fatherhood Leadership Summit brings more than 180 community partners from the metro Atlanta areas including Dekalb, Clayton, Fulton, Cobb, and Douglas counties. Summit Leaders will discuss the following:
- Connecting Fathers to Resources and to Each Other
- Reaching Fathers
- Improving Relationships (Between Men & Institutions, Between Co-Parents)
- Supporting Inner Healing
- Reclaiming the Narrative About Fathers
- Addressing Mass Incarceration
- Implementing Father-Friendly Policies
