The purpose of our Top Dawg Robotics Team is to focus on mentoring young boys using Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) programs in partnership with First and Lego League and to provide a Robotics Team for our service area.
With the STEM Program, we have adult coaches as students apply STEM concepts and their imaginations to develop solutions to resolve real-world challenges.
The FIRST LEGO League students research a real-world engineering challenge, develop a solution, and compete with LEGO-based robots of their own design.
While teams work on the Project and Robot Game, they are guided by the FIRST Core Values. This set of values is what makes our program so special. Teams are encouraged to compete like crazy but still respect their teammates, coaches, and even help their “competitors.”
Our most important Core Value is “Have FUN!”
